Our hotel function room can hold a minimum of 30 guests to a maximum of 180 guest’s dependant on the table layout. Our restaurant also can be used as a function room, it can hold a minimum of 100 guest to a maximum of 300 guest’s dependant on the table layout.
If you decide to opt for either of our hot or cold buffet selections, we require a minimum of 80% of your guests to be catered for. If you decide on the hot sandwich options instead, all guests must be catered for. If you do not wish to be catered for, the room hire charge is a flat fee regardless of the day of the week.
Unfortunately, customers cannot provide their own catering.
If you wish to secure a date, we simply require the room hire to be paid in full and this fee is non-refundable in any instance!
We also hire out the public bar for functions, this would be free of charge to hire but this would not be a private event. The catering, however, is exactly the same.
Dependant on the number of guests, you may want to consider the ‘Snug’ area in our restaurant, from as little as £50.00 to hire for groups of 40 or more with the catering from either Moo or The Highfield. This would be a little more private than the public bar but unfortunately, we cannot accommodate a DJ/Disco in this area.
