We get asked many questions about our various on-site facilities. See below some of your most frequently asked questions answered:
Do you have Disabled Access onsite? – We have disabled access entrances to all of our on-site facilities, apart from our Leisure Centre.
Do you have Wi-Fi available? – Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Hotel and Public Bar for all guests and customers.
Do you offer Free Parking? – Yes! We offer free on-site parking for Hotel guests, Leisure Centre users, Function guests and customers visiting our Public Bar.
Do you allow Camper Vans or Large Vehicles in your Car Park? – Please contact reception before arrival if travelling with a larger vehicle so we can advise on parking availability.
Do you offer Gift Vouchers? – Yes. Gift vouchers are available and can be used across selected services at The Highfield. Please contact reception for more information.
How can I stay updated on upcoming events and offers? – Follow our Social Media pages to stay up to date with upcoming entertainment, live sports, offers and special events at The Highfield. You can also sign up to our newsletter, see the bottom of our web page to sign up!
Is the Highfield pet-friendly? – Yes! We allow pets in our Hotel for an additional fee of £10.00 per pet, per stay.
How do I book the Hotel? – You can book directly on our website by visiting the Rooms section, or by calling us on 01274 611 111.
Do you take Walk-ins for the Hotel? – Subject to availability, yes. However, we always recommend booking in advance to secure the best rates and availability.
Do you offer Hotel Room Discounts for Longer Stays or Group Bookings? – In some cases, yes. Please contact reception directly regarding group bookings, contractor stays or extended stay enquiries.
What are your Hotel Check-in and Check-out Times? – Standard check-in is from 3pm and check-out is by 11am. Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request.
Do Hotel Guests get access to the Leisure Centre? – Yes. All Hotel guests receive complimentary access to our Leisure Centre during their stay, when booking direct with us. If you have booked via an affiliate like booking.com or Expedia, there is an additional fee of £5 per person per stay for access.
Are Children allowed in the Pub? – Yes. However, children are only permitted in the pub until early evening. This may vary during special events and entertainment nights.
Is the Highfield pet-friendly? – Yes! Dogs are welcome in our Public Bar but must be kept on a leash at all times.
Do you play Live Sports? – Yes. We show a wide range of Live Sports across our TWO large screens and TVs with surround sound in our Public Bar.
Do you show Boxing, UFC and Pay-Per-View Sports? – Selected major sporting events and pay-per-view fights are shown throughout the year. Please check our Social Media pages for announcements.
Do you host a Quiz Night? – Yes! Our Quiz Night takes place EVERY Wednesday from 8:30pm with prizes, fun and a great atmosphere for all attending.
Do you have Live Entertainment? – Yes! We regularly host DJs, Karaoke, Live Bands, Tribute Acts, Quiz Nights and themed events throughout the year. Check out our Socials for updates.
Do you have to book a table for food? – Booking is not always necessary, however we do recommend calling in advance to secure a table. If you are a group of 10 people or more, please contact us directly regarding availability, security deposits may apply.
What time is food served? – Food is served in our Public Bar Sunday to Friday from 12pm till 8pm and Saturdays from 12pm till 9pm.
Do you offer Sunday Lunch? – Yes! Our traditional Sunday Roast is served every Sunday from 12pm while stocks last.
Do you offer Vegetarian or Vegan Food Options? – Yes. We offer a selection of vegetarian dishes and can accommodate some dietary requirements. Please inform our team of any allergies or dietary needs before ordering.
Do you offer Bottomless Brunch? – Yes! We regularly host Bottomless Brunch events with themed cocktails, prosecco, selected draught drinks and light bites. Contact us via phone 01274 611 111, email: reception@thehighfield.com, DM us on socials to book!
Can I reserve an area in the Pub for a group booking? – Yes. Depending on availability, we can reserve tables or designated areas for birthdays, celebrations and larger group bookings.
Can the public use the Leisure Centre? – Yes! We offer Day Passes to members of the public. Please see our Leisure page for more information.
Do you have to book in advance to use the Leisure Centre? – If you are a member of the public, you do not need to book in advance. However, please note that Day Pass users cannot use the facilities during swimming lesson times. Please see our Leisure page for more information.
What facilities are included in the Leisure Centre? – Our Leisure Centre includes a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym facilities.
Can non-members use the Gym? – Yes! Non-members can purchase a Day Pass to access the gym and Leisure Centre facilities.
Can I hire the Leisure Centre or Swimming Pool privately? – Yes! We offer private hire packages for birthdays, celebrations and group gatherings. Please contact reception for availability and pricing.
Can I book Swimming Lessons at the Highfield? – Yes. Swimming lessons are hosted onsite by independent swim schools. Please contact reception for current providers and availability.
How do I book your Function Suites? – You can email us at reception@thehighfield.com or call us on 01274 611 111.
How many people do your Function Suites hold? – We have two suites available. Our smaller suite holds between 30 and 120 guests, whilst our larger suite holds between 50 and 200 guests.
Do you cater for Private Parties & Events? – Absolutely. We host birthdays, baby showers, weddings, wakes, corporate events, engagement parties and many other special occasions within our Function Suites.
