How do I book your Function Suites? – You can email us at reception@thehighfield.com or call us on 01274 611 111.

How many people do your Function Suites hold? – We have two function suites available. Our smaller suite accommodates between 30 and 120 guests, while our larger suite can hold between 50 and 200 guests. In addition, our Public Bar is also available for bookings and can accommodate up to 100 guests. Please note that the Public Bar remains open to the general public and is not available for exclusive private hire.

Can we provide our own food? – No, we do not permit external catering. All food and beverages must be provided by our in-house team.

Do you cater for allergies or special dietary requirements? – Yes, we cater for all major allergens and special dietary requirements (including vegetarian and vegan options). Please inform us of any specific needs and provide a list of requirements, along with the names of the guests they apply to, ahead of your event.

Can we book our own DJs, entertainment and vendors? – Yes, external DJs, entertainers and suppliers are welcome. All third-party providers must supply valid public liability insurance and any required documentation prior to the event.

Can we hold our civil wedding ceremony at The Highfield? – No, unfortunately, at this moment in time, we do not have a licence to hold civil ceremonies. However, we can hold blessings or commitment ceremonies; this is ideal for those who may have already married abroad or elsewhere and wish to hold an informal event for family and friends who were not able to attend the official wedding.

Do you offer dedicated wedding packages? – Absolutely. We offer a variety of tailored wedding packages to suit different budgets and styles, which can include welcome drinks, wedding breakfasts, evening buffets, and room decor. Click the link above to download our latest brochure.

Is there a bridal suite or changing area available? – Yes, we have hotel rooms available for the wedding party to get ready, freshen up, or store personal belongings securely throughout the big day.

You can also book overnight stays for the couple, bridal party, and groomsmen to get ready in the morning. We offer rooms suitable for single occupancy, as well as adjoining rooms featuring a king bed in one room and multiple beds in various layouts in the other—perfect for the whole party to get ready together.

Do you offer rooms for overnight stays for the wedding couple? – Yes, we can accommodate the wedding couple in our hotel. If you wish to book an appointment to view our rooms, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly.

Is there accommodation available on-site for our wedding guests? – Yes, we have overnight accommodation available, with free access to the leisure centre and other perks when booking direct.

Can we decorate the function suite to match our wedding theme? – Yes, you are welcome to decorate the room to bring your vision to life. Please note that we do not permit any decorations that could cause permanent damage to the walls or fixtures (such as nails or certain adhesives).
