Want to travel to or from the Highfield, but not sure where to go or what is available?
See below a few options that may help you on your travels:
BUS SERVICES
Numbers 612, 613, 614
The above buses stop directly outside our establishment. Each bus travels to and from Bradford Interchange and Shipley, depending on the direction you are coming to or from.
If you are going on a single journey, for example from Bradford Interchange to the Highfield, a Single Ticket roughly costs £2 and Day ticked from £4.50.
More bus services are available from Morrisons Supermarket car park, less than 5 minute’s walk from the Highfield to areas such as Baildon, Bradford City Centre and more.

TRAIN SERVICES
Depending on your route to Bradford, we have 3 train stations at a relatively equal distance from the Highfield.
Bradford Interchange, the main station into Bradford for cross-country travel. – Local stations such as Apperly Bridge or Shipley are also available.
If you prefer to travel by bus from the stations, the most direct route would be to Shipley or Bradford Interchange, and use the above-stated bus services (612, 613, 614) to get to the Highfield.
Taxi services are available from all Train Stations to the Highfield. Most have a free phone to use for Taxi services, but if you would like advice on local taxi firms, please do not hesitate to contact us at 01274 611 111.
We get asked many questions about our various onsite facilities, see below some of your most asked questions answered:
Do you have Disabled Access onsite? – We have disabled access entrances to all of our onsite facilities, apart from our Leisure Centre.
Is the Highfield pet friendly? – Yes! If you go to our Public Bar, you must keep your dog on a leash. – We also allow pets in our Hotel! There is an additional fee of £10.00 per pet per stay.
Are Children allowed in the Pub? – Yes. However, children are only allowed in the pub till early evening. This may differ when we host special events etc.
Do you host a Quiz Night? – As of Wednesday 16th April 2023 our QUIZ NIGHT is back EVERY Wednesday! Masterminds at play, money to be won and maybe a supper for all attending!
Do you play Live Sports? – Yes. We offer a large range of Live Sports across our TWO large screens and TVs, with surround sounds for your enjoyment, in our Public Bar.
Do you have to book a table for food? – It is not always necessary, but we do advise that you call in advance to secure a seat for dining! – If you are a large group of 10 people or more, and wish to dine with us, please contact us about availability.
What time is food served to and from? – We serve food in our Public Bar Sunday to Friday 12pm till 8pm and Saturdays from 12pm till 9pm.
Can the public use the Leisure Centre? – Yes! We offer Day passes to members of the public, please see our Leisure page for more information.
Do you have to book in advance to use the Leisure Centre? – If you are a member of the public, you do not need to book in advance, but please be advised that Day Pass users can not use the facilities during swimming lesson times, please see our Leisure tab for more info.

How many people does your Function Suite hold? – We have two suites to choose from, our smaller suite holds 30 to 12o people. Our larger suite holds 50 to 200 people.
Do you host special events or have Bands/Entertainment play at the Highfield? – We do!
